Depending on prior experience, you will use 15-20 days to complete your pair of shoes.

Pattern making
Modify an existing pattern, or create a new one

Upper making
Draft, cut, thin and sew using a variety of industrial machines

Hand lasting
Feel the leather as you pull the upper over the shoe last

Hand welting
Create the welt and sew the upper, lining, insole together

Interior construction
Build the insole and internal structure

Bottoming
Add the shank and filling, ready for the outsole

Hand stitching
Prepare and stitch the outsole onto the shoe

Heel construction
Carve, nail and shape the heel block from leather

Finishing
Sand and polish until completion

Modify an existing pattern, or create the one in your mind
